SuperPath® Hip Technique

MicroPort has been manufacturing orthopedic implants for over 60 years. All of our hip and knee implants are made in the USA at our manufacturing facility in Arlington, Tennessee. Our manufacturing facility is a world-class operation utilizing state-of-the-art robotics to ensure precision.

MicroPort’s SuperPath® Direct Superior Portal Assisted Hip Approach is a tissue-sparing approach where no muscles or tendons are cut. A growing number of experienced surgeons across the world have embraced SuperPath® as their preferred total hip technique to deliver faster recovery to patients.  When compared to national averages, patients treated with the SuperPath® Direct Superior Portal Assisted Hip Approach have stayed in the hospital for a shorter amount of time, been discharged directly to their home more often, and are less likely to return within 30 days for any reason—all without the typical postoperative hip restrictions associated with traditional THA techniques. 1
